The whole topic of stuttering and stammering has always been an embarassin one for me.  It probably goes way back to the early days when I used to suffer from a severe stutter, when talkin on the phone I would develop the worst possible speech impedement.  Public speaking and even talking to teachers would always lead me into a self-conscious bumbling mess.

Meanwhile, fast-forward almost 10 years and I havn’t considered myself a stutterer for almost 2 years now.  After an endless search for help and information, I managed to overcome the mental locks that prevented me from fluent speech.  Thinking back over my journey, it all could have been much easier if I had been introduce to Steve Stanley sooner.  He taught me everything practical I know about  treating stuttering  and I would like to share some of his work with the rest of the world.

How can I overcome a stutter? Is there a cure for  stammering and stuttering ? Where can I find out about techniques to eradicate stuttering? Are there any specialised speech courses for stammering? These are questions that I am asked on a regular basis by people who contact me with regards to their speech, people who have had enough of living life with a stutter or stammer.

The majority of these people are more than willing to work very hard in their quest to achieve fluency and will leave no stone unturned to ensure that they succeed.
